Slow
Attenuated stillness, I experience myself standing in a shifting field of deep change. Of unravel. Of new tendrils of coalesce.
Of awareness. Of deep consciousness.
I read. I look out the window. I water my green garden. I sense my body.
I tend my dying cat. Treasuring her flickering sentience here.
She is blind now. Her ears shift with the kookaburras. Her face lifts to the breeze whispering secrets to her. Her furry body curls and she gently snores.
I spiral in and out of peace. Of grief. Of anxiety.
Why I actively choose conversations
I’ve recently hosted two Podcasts with two colleagues;
One a Photographer whom I deeply respect,
One a somatic movement practitioner whose work is a balm.
Yet, I struggle to ‘produce’ the two episodes. It’s not the conversations, it’s the technical proficiency on my part that is thin. The conversations are rich. Nourishing to the bone. I hope to share them ‘properly’ with you next week.
In the meantime, they are up (sans Show Notes) via Vimeo.
But the question arises for me; if I am challenged with the polished presentation, why bother? Ahhh . . .
I love talking with people. My whole being is so hydrated by hearing about Other’s experiences, their lives, their choices; their Story. I participate with both myself and with the person with whom I am sitting in sacred space.
And sacred it is.
Listening. Hearing. Asking.
The New opens out in this space ~
So please enjoy the video version (without even the intro’s);
A slow as molasses conversation with Sandrine Harris.
Somatic experiencing, movement, and Marrow.
A lively conversation with Photographer Carlos Alejandro.
The Humanity of true education and being Seen.
The witnessing and hearing of Story, that is Portraiture.
Stardust and Bones film
The week that I created my last Film, Calling In Creation, I made another:
Stardust & Bones, It is longer than Creation. This new film is 9.44 minutes.
It truly is best watched and listened to with your headphones; the Sound soaks into the bones. The stardust from which we constellate and arrive here.
Clicking on this image will take you to Vimeo to view Stardust & Bones.
I’ve not written film notes yet. But know that deep timespace and the quantum field of consciousness are involved :)
And, because this is my work - walking, making images, creating films, writing, along with the deep Practices that enable, cultivate and are the fundament of that work, I invite you to offer your support. To Participate in the sacred ecology of reciprocity. You can do that via the button below, which allows you to choose whatever amount you would like to offer in loving kindness. I thank and acknowledge you; my deep bow of appreciation.
